Often non-explicitly mental health focused community organisations are engaging in great work and hold trusted positions and relationships within communities, however they may not have in-house psychologically-informed supervision/consultation available. High levels of unmet mental health and wellbeing needs within the community can therefore result in community organisation staff engaging in work they do not feel skilled or supported in, without much opportunity for them to think about, share, discuss or process the personally and professionally challenging aspects of their work.
This can impact the quality of the support that is available to the community and the wellbeing of those providing the support. Via the workforce strand, Partisan can offer psychologically informed support to organisations who already have existing relationships within the community.
