Young people designing, delivering and leading on change in Lewisham
As part of our MyEnds, MyLewisham programme, Partisan is thrilled to be supporting the running of 7 youth-led projects this Autumn-Winter, for young people across Lewisham.
Activities have all been selected, designed and/or facilitated by young people from Lewisham, or co-designed with partner community organisations with their close collaboration.
“It has been an honour to see young people bring their ideas to life, drawing on their hyperlocal understanding of what their community needs to increase safety. Partisan is learning about the ways in which young people can have meaningful agency, choice, decision making power and influence, shaping their own initiatives for their communities, and the impact of this in shaping future programmes and community interventions.” - Dr Maria Shittu, Project Lead
Projects range from, but are not solely limited to:
Crocheting workshops
Music sessions
Poetry and spoken word workshops
Strength-building and movement classes
Food and growing classes
Self-discovery and personal reflection spaces for girls and young women
Holistic healing and wellbeing spaces
Sessions will take place across South London, and open to those who live, work or have a connection to Lewisham.
If you or your group are interested in attending, or can think of someone who might be, see our full #MyEnds event listings below!

Partisan is using a participatory grant making model to ensure that funding and resources are redistributed to where need has been identified by young people for greater attention and investment.
